Ah, an old poem from an old account of mine. *sigh* So many old arts on that account, heh...

I wrote this during my senior year of high school. It was my first submission to the school arts magazine, which featured *duh* art and literature submitted by students. I remember giving another poem to my teacher (he was in charge of said magazine) and then giving him this one stating, "I'm not submitting this, I just want your opinion on it."

He goes, "...Why are you not submitting this?"

I ended up letting him put it in. He could only put in one of my poems, and he chose this one because he adored it (and looking back, my first poem sucked. Notice I didn't salvage that one? Ha!).

As I mentioned on my old description, this one was sort of Zabuza and Haku inspired. They're still two of my favorite characters in the series, and I believe that, out of all of the characters, they shared one of the most meaningful relationships.

I think that's one of the reasons why I liked the relationship between Orochimaru and Kabuto. In some ways, it is similar, so it gave me something to go to after losing what I originally liked.

Anyway, enough blabbering about Naruto. It's a poem. Read, sip some tea, and enjoy.
